Taken from a busy street corner in Saigon on June 27, 2008. The number of motorcycles was astounding. Usually, there are even more than in the photo! To cross the street, you have to just get up the nerve to go, and walk slowly and at a steady pace. The motorcyclists will honk and veer around you. I had gone to Vietnam to work on my Agent Orange book. The mini hotel I where I was staying was down the street from here, and the hospital where I was volunteering was behind me and to my right. |
